dinner @ LTN eating house

today @ around six plus, i met shane for dinner. we went to this LTN Eating house which is located at siglap. i suggested to go there to have dinner, to try out some japanese rice bowl that was recommended by this food blog; ieatishootipost.blogspot.com. omg. it was such a disappointment!it's awful! i cant believe that the food blog critic had recommended this place! shane had tonkatsu curry rice @ $4.50 + additional $1 for chawamushi and miso soup

while i had teriyaki chicken rice @ $4 + additional $1 for chawanmushi and miso soup

hmm.. altho the price of these two items add up @ $10.50 for two persons... personally i think i will never go back there again.the bowl is filled with so much rice, and the rice seems not to be the japanese grains and chawamushi like some plain steam egg and miso soup is not hot, definately not a fantastic meal! or should i say both of us standards are too high. nahss.. but it is really terrible, so sorry to say that.altho the lady who served us was really polite and nice but still IMPROVEMENT IS NEEDED!!!

then after eating, we went to fairprice to get some chocolates, and then went to this market located near tg rhu ,the dessert stall to buy my all time favourite dessert!! Cheng tng! this stall cheng tng is so different from all other places. it's the ingredients they put i guess? just love it! for ur info, this bowl of cheng tng cost only 80 cents if u eat there,so if you want to takeaway, additional 20cents. but if u want gingko nuts additonal 40cents. usually i will add cos i love to eat gingko nuts!
